Pichwai Inspired Statement Choker with Shrinathji TN N2 Great Value Dried Cranberries & Candied Pecans, 3.5 oz Walmart.com. DETAILS Stone Setting : Jadau Kundan Material : Base Metal Finish : Gold Plated Fastening : Adjustable Thread Dori Contains : One Necklace CRAFT STORY Mortantra's Pichwai Inspired collection began with our admiration for the painted miniatures of Nathdwara, a centuries old tradition where devotion meets art on cloth and now on jewellery. With this devotional vocabulary as our focus, we craft each piece with silver foiled stones for shine, brass to hold them together and gold plated all over to make devotional Indian art available beyond the temple wall as accessible luxury. The Pichwai tradition began in 17th century Nathdwara, Rajasthan. Painted cloth panels hung behind Shrinathji in the temple, depicting his daily darshan, the seasons of Braj, and the lotus, peacock, cow, and gopi motifs that have become the visual signature of the tradition. Mortantra's Pichwai Inspired jewellery translates that visual vocabulary into wearable form, with gold plated metalwork holding the miniature at the centre. THE PIECE A choker built around a Shrinathji miniature at its centre. The framed square holds the Nathdwara form set against a pale background, ringed by a Kundan border in green. Two side panels flank the centre each carrying a large pink Kundan teardrop set into green Meenakari foliage. The closure is a multi strand pearl band finished with a thread dori tie for adjustability.
